WELCOA, the Wellness Councils of America, lists Creating a Cohesive Wellness Team as the #2 priority in their Seven Benchmarks of Success for a Well Workplace.
Here’s why:
Impact A group that includes formal and informal leaders from all segments of your business is going to have greater credibility and connections throughout your organization than any single individual.
Sustainability Having a team to support the effort ensures continued viability and avoids the potential for your wellness program to languish simply because one individual’s priorities shift or someone gets transferred, promoted, or leaves the organization.
Creativity, Energy, and Enthusiasm You know from your own personal experience how great the power and performance of an effective team can be. A high-performance team has the capacity to envision great ideas, put them into practice, deal with setbacks, engage a wide variety of resources, and create innovative solutions.

|
High-performance teams don’t just happen. From sports teams to symphony orchestras, every effective team has an effective coach. Working with a Wellness Strategies coach will provide your Wellness Team an effective jump-start to success and sustainability.
While our approach begins with great intensity and involvement on the part of the coach, your coach’s role will diminish as the team gains clarity about their mission, roles, and resources, and as they develop a solid structure and successful operating practices.
Each of our team coaches has a rich and relevant background, with most bringing more than 10 years of personal experience in corporate leadership and management, small business operations, education and the public sector.
